Stevens have completed a 42 lot residential subdivision in Narara.  The subdivision is located on the northern side of Narara Creek Road.  All lots were sold through Raine & Horne Gosford.  

 

 

 

Headlands Hotel, Austinmer - May 2015

 

The Headlands Hotel project is one of the most exciting beachfront sites that will be developed in NSW.  The site is located on a headland fronting two beaches.  The absolute beachfront site has stunning views in all directions to the north and south of the coastline. The project features a 61 unit strata tourism hotel including restaurants, bars and function rooms with 180 degree views overlooking the ocean.

Marsden Park – Shell Service Station – 2014

 

Stevens purchased the site adjoining McDonalds in the Sydney Business Park complex at Marsden Park for a Shell Service Station. Both the Shell Service Station and McDonalds development applications were jointly lodged so the operations of both complexes were able to work well on completion.

 

Other tenants committed to the site include Bunnings Warehouse, IKEA, Masters Home Improvement and Costco. Once developed, the entire site will create 17,000 new direct jobs within the Marsden Park area.

Wadalba – McDonalds – 2014


Stevens Group has recently completed development of a McDonalds Restaurant and 7-Eleven Convenience Retailer on a high profile highway location in Wadalba. These projects have been the catalyst on adjoining sites with Stevens getting ready to start an adjoining office retail project including a new motor dealership.

Boolaroo – 90 Lot Residential Subdivision – 2014

 

Stevens Group are developing a 90 lot residential subdivision situated in the Newcastle area at Boolaroo.  With all level building blocks designed for slab construction, marketing is expected to commence in early November 2014 through Creer Properties at Charlestown.  The block sizes range from 550 sqm to 650 sqm with a mixture of street frontages to allow for the most modern construction methods. Completion of the first stage is anticipated for mid 2015.

Unit Development at Cams Wharf, Rafferty's Resort, Lake Macquarie - December 2014

 

Stevens have gained Development Approval for the construction of 10 luxury apartments in two blocks. The 10 apartments are a combination of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms and every bedroom is individually keyed to allow for flexible holiday letting. The dwellings are approved for either tourist or permanent accommodation.

 Cessnock – Goodwins Vehicle Repair and 7-Eleven Service Station – 2016

Stevens have purchased the old Goodwins Service Station on Wollombi Road Cessnock. The Development Approval includes a new Vehicle Repair workshop at the rear and a new 7-Eleven Service Station fronting Wollombi Road.


The Goodwin family have
been running the vehicle repair workshop on the site for many decades. The new development will considerably modernise the Goodwins facilities, along with bringing a brand new 7-Eleven offering to the area.

New Lambton, 7- Eleven Service Station – 2014


Stevens Group redeveloped an existing service state site which was originally established some 80 years ago, into a newly modelled 7-Eleven Convenience Retailer and Service Station. This is a very high profile site opposite Newcastle Stadium. Construction was completed in mid 2015 after a full rebuild to the site.

 

 

 

 

Rutherford, Puma Service Station – 2014

 

Puma is the largest independently owned service station operator in Australia. Stevens Group developed a site on the New England Highway at Rutherford for this new operator. The Development Consent was issued in October 2014 and was completed in June 2015.

 

 

 

Gateshead, Service Centre - 2017

 

Stevens Group has recently completed a multi tenanted development on Pacific Highway in Gateshead. This included a new look Oporto Drive Thru Restaurant, a Subway food outlet and a 7-Eleven Service Station.

 

 

 

  

Kurri Kurri, Service Centre – 2014

 

Situated on the interchange of the new Hunter Expressway and Main Road, Kurri Kurri this multi-tenanted site is being developed for a new Puma Service Station, Red Rooster Food Outlet and Subway. Development Consent has now been received and construction commenced in November 2014 with completion expected towards the end of 2015.

 

 

 

 

 

Thornton – 2014

 

Situated at the end of the M1 Freeway and the gateway to the Thornton residential release areas. This multi-tenanted site has been developed with Stage 1 featuring a new Puma Service Station, Red Rooster and coffee shop area. Stage 2 will feature high exposure retail shop outlets on the main roundabout into Thornton.

 

The masterplan has been lodged with Council and Stage 1 is currently under construction and is programmed for completion in October 2016.

 


 

 

 

 

Mingara, Medical Centre and Pharmacy - 2014

 

Plans are now finalised for a medical centre and pharmacy to share the ground floor of this two storey development at Mingara, Tumbi Umbi. Opportunities exist for allied health care professionals in the first floor tenancy.

Lisarow Shopping Centre - New Woolworths now approved by Council - 2014

 

Council have now approved development of a new standalone Woolworths Supermarket, fully serviced and two speciality shops with additional parking for 209 cars.  

 

 

 

 

Lisarow Shopping Centre - Expansion of existing Bilo Supermarket - 2014

 

The existing BiLo Supermarket will undergo a 1000sqm expansion which will enabled rebranding of the supermarket to a fully serviced Coles.  This development is expect to be completed by early 2016.

 

 

 

Erina – Commercial Office – Medicare Local – 2013

 


New commercial premises have been built in Erina behind the existing “Rivers” building which accommodates the Rivers outlet, PRP Radiology and a number of smaller commercial tenancies. The new offices will be occupied by Central Coast Division of General Practice. These divisions are non-for-profit organisations that were developed to enhance communication and integration between GP’s and the wider health system.


The project involved the turnkey construction of a 660m2 commercial office building over two floors for a single tenant and incorporates a 27kw photovoltaic solar power system. The building design was oriented to take advantage of solar access for light and solar energy and includes solar panels mounted vertically to the building as part of the façade system.


The construction works included the tenant’s internal fitout including coordination with and input from the tenant’s, interior designers and specialist contractors.


The building was officially opened by the Hon. Tanya Plibersek, Federal Minister for Health, on 24 April 2013 and is occupied by Medicare Local (a not for profit organisation).

 

 

 

 

Hume ACT, Unmanned Caltex Diesel Stop – June 2012 

 

This development consists of an exciting new concept for Caltex being specifically oriented to the high volume diesel market in Hume, an expanding industrial area of Canberra.  The site is coupled with an approval for two industrial showroom units for later expansion of the project.

 

The Diesel Stop has commenced trading on site.  

 

Vehicles can be filled rapidly at the new Diesel Stop with flow rates of up to 1000 litres per minute. Drivers simply swipe a card and tanks on both sides of the vehicle can be filled safety and efficiently with minimal pedestrian traffic.

 

The site has the latest technology, stainless steel tanks to hold the new add blue chemical to clean truck engines. There will be a number of the Caltex sites rolled out across Australia which will give a major industry direction.

 

The site was sold at the end of 2012.

 

 

 

Wadalba Medical Centre Development - 2014

 

After five years of working with Wyong Council, work is now completed on the Wadalba retail project.  The complex adjoins the Coles Shopping Centre, Wadalba Community School, Juniors at Wadalba Pre-School and is positioned in one of the major growth areas of the Central Coast.


The development was approved at the end of 2011 and with completion in November 2012.


There has been a very positive response from local businesses wanting to be involved in the project. These include a new Amcal Pharmacy, Medical Centre with Pathology Services, Cellarbrations Liquor, Chinese Take Away, a Bakery/Cafe and a Hair Salon with 90% of the shops now leased.


This new retail centre will provide much needed options for the people of Wadalba and adjoining areas.

Mingara Medical Centre, Tumbi Umbi - May 2014

 

Stevens has recently gained approval for a modern Chemist Outlet pharmacy at Mingara. Final Pharmacy Board approvals and our fit out design are now complete. Work is now complete and Stevens is currently working with the Mingara Recreation Club and Council on options to provide additional medical facilities for GPs at the Mingara complex.  The plans are expected to be lodged with Council in the near future.

Plumpton, 7-Eleven - October 2014 - Now Sold

 

Construction is now complete on the development of a Service Station and Convenience Retailer in Plumpton on Rooty Hill Road. The store has the latest technology available from 7-Eleven.

 

Rooty Hill Road is a high volume arterial road with easy access to the M7 and local residential areas. The site is expected to be popular among motorists and local residents alike.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Central Hotel, Shellharbour – May 2013

 

The Shellharbour Hotel is now complete.  The family designed Hotel will bring life into the city centre of the rapidly expanding Shellharbour District.  The site is opposite Hoyts Cinemas and adjoins the newly expanded Stockland Shellharbour Square Shopping Centre.

 

The new hotel has been sold to the Denmeade Family who are well known investors owning and operating a number of other hotels in the area.  Click here to see more of the hotel.

 

 

 

 

Kempsey - Highway Service Centre - 2015

 

Work is now complete on the $16 million South Kempsey Highway Service Centre.

 

The 5ha site, which sits to the east of the South Kempsey interchange, was developed for Puma Energy.   Puma Energy are a global company which entered the Australian market in 2013, their acquisition of several fuel companies has seen them quickly become Australia’s largest independently owned fuel company.  The company currently have over 260 retail sites and 1,000 employees. The South Kempsey Highway Service centre is a flagship store for Puma Energy as they significantly emerge in the NSW marketplace.

 

The Service Centre Food Court is a state of the art centre which includes McDonalds, Subway and Red Rooster and other national food operators.

 

Provision of 25 truck/B Double parking spaces, 6 bus/caravan parking spaces, 149 car parking spaces, a truck lounge, children’s playground and ample indoor and outdoor seating areas also forms part of the Service Centre.

 

The landmark development will be a vibrant refuel and rest point for the many Pacific Highway travellers and the local community.


 

 

 

 

Bathurst - $22 million Bulky Goods/Retail Development - Now complete 

 

The first stage of our Bathurst project opened with both Woolworths Petrol and McDonalds.

 

The Stevens Group subsequently entered into a contract with Woolworths owned Masters Hardware to buy the balance of the 51,000 sqm site for the Masters project. Construction is now complete for Stage 2 with Masters Hardware now operating from the site.

 

 

 

Greta - McDonald's Family Restaurant - Mid 2012

 

Site works and final approval have been clarified allowing commencement on the Greta project. Stevens identified and negotiated the purchase of the site for a McDonald's Restaurant.  Works were slowed due an old petrol tank that was found in Council's footpath.  The geotechnical consultants completed a plan of management so construction work could be completed on the project.

 

The project was completed and trading from December 2012.


 

 

 

Mayfield - McDonald's Family Restaurant - December 2012

 

Stevens have identified and negotiated the purchase of the site for a McDonald’s Restaurant on the corner of George Street and the Industrial Highway, Mayfield. Stevens waited on registration of the Newcastle Council LEP to allow development approval to proceed.  The project was completed in late 2012.

 

 

 

 

Port Macquarie, Aldi - December 2011

 

The Stevens Group successfully negotiated authority approvals for the construction of an Aldi Store, at the corner of Hastings River Drive and Hughes Place, Port Macquarie. Aldi completed their construction at the end of 2011 and Stevens have retained the balance of the site (approximately 1 hectare) adjoining the supermarket for future development which is trading and known as Melaleuca Caravan Park. 

 

 

 

One Pioneer, Tuggerah Business Park - All leased/sold


Great success at One Pioneer with the complex now fully leased and sold out.


One Pioneer is an eight tenancy ground floor commercial office complex situated at 1 Pioneer Avenue in the Tuggerah Business Park. Stevens completed the last stage of 19 residential lots off Tattler Street and Blue Crane Close at Tumbi Umbi.

 

This centrally located subdivision is within walking distance of Mingara Recreation Club and is close to shops, school and beaches.

 

The relatively level, easy building lots will have generous frontages and site areas and will represent some of the best remaining residential lots to be developed in this popular sought after area.

North Belmont - 7-Eleven and Convenience Store - September 2009

 

A 7-Eleven Service Station and Convenience Store has recently been developed, leased and on sold by the Stevens Group.  Formerly an outdated hotel, the site was developed in stages, with a further approval for a car wash on the site in Stage 2.
